Refund policy

1. Exclusion of the Right of Withdrawal for Customized Products

Please note that according to § 312g (2) No. 1 of the German Civil Code (BGB), the legal right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the delivery of goods that are manufactured according to customer specifications or clearly tailored to personal needs. Since our cakes are individually designed and made to your specifications, there is no right of withdrawal for these orders.

2. Order Cancellation

Order cancellations can only be accepted in exceptional cases if the production of your cake has not yet started. Once work on your order has begun, cancellation is unfortunately no longer possible. If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us immediately to check the status of your order.

Cancellations are possible under the following conditions:

  • Cancellation up to 72 hours before the defined pick-up window: In this case, we will refund the full purchase price.
  • Cancellation between 72 and 24 hours before the defined pick-up window: In this case, we will retain 50% of the purchase price and refund the remaining 50%.
  • Cancellation less than 24 hours before the defined pick-up window: In this case, no refund will be given, and we will retain 100% of the purchase price.

3. Returns and Complaints

Since our cakes are made specifically to your wishes, returns are generally excluded. However, if the ordered cake significantly deviates from the specifications agreed with you, you can make a complaint upon receipt of the product. We will review the case and, depending on the situation, offer an appropriate solution (e.g., replacement or price reduction). Later complaints cannot be accepted.

4. Quality and Satisfaction

We place great importance on the quality and freshness of our products. Should you have valid concerns regarding the freshness, taste, or agreed decoration of the cake, we are of course available to find a solution. Please note that taste preferences are subjective and cannot be grounds for a complaint if the cake meets the agreed requirements.

5. Pick-up and Delivery

Please check the cake upon pick-up or delivery for completeness and conformity with your order. Once the order is accepted, all risks are transferred to the buyer, unless there are hidden defects that can only be noticed later.
